How to upgrade firmware?

I'll be getting my A2 tomorrow from UPS and want to upgrade the firmware to 1.38 immediately when I open the box. What is the procedure for installing new firmware?

drop the firmware files in the root then hold down the joystick while pressing the start button

Extract the content of the downloaded firmware into the root directory of your iAudio. Diconnect the player. Start the player while pressing down the joystick. Firmware upgrade will start instantly.

Make sure you have enough battery life before you do this though. To be very sure just plug your A2 into the wall.
