Can divx 6.0 videos be played on the A2?

u can download a sample from http://www.divx.com/movies/detail.php?movieID=24&cID=4
the iStation i2 can play it.

I'm just downloading the sample. Give me a minute and I will be able to tell you if it plays. I don't think that DivX 6 is officially supported though at the moment.

Are you sure that is a DivX 6 file (the link you posted)?

The A2 plays it fine, but displays the codec info as DivX5 :woh:

hm, i am pretty sure that it is not DivX 5, but my otherwise reliable codec information softwar refuses to analyze that file.

edit: g-spot says its DivX4, but it cant be.... confused.
