lol, I'm a member of head-fi

Just wanted to know how they sound with the X5, as most tests on head-fi are done with 3/4G iPods...

Well there are some tests with the x5, they're generally in the iem's forums. the x5 has a good headphone out (some say better then iPod) so I guess you can't go wrong with either one of them. You should consider the um2's and the ety er4p/s. The ety's are bright, the westones are darker.
