blows away A2 by every aspect:
reasons:
smaller in size and lighter in weight...
removable battery
option of sd card in case you fill harddrive..
and proll be cheaper, as low as 200 on ebay!
(this has an straight av in as well with no BS adaptor like the archos)

First go find a product WORTH comparing to an iPod at least (god I hate sayin that).... then you can have permission to post these whacky gadgets and compare them to the A2.

well, you canT deny that it has more for the money?
why doesnt a2 have a removable battery? Battery dies and your out on the islands enjoying vids on the beach and better go back to hotel to charge up.. Well, with this you just carry a spare thats charged already and pop it in.. Not to mention with A2 you will eventually have to deal with THE DEATH of your INTERNAL battery and send back to iAudio, while they install and ship back to you, all the while you will be WITHOUT YOUR PVP-lol...(enjoy your waiting while I simply pop another battery in MY PVP, haha)
or why doesnt A2 have an option for SD card in case harddrive gets full? And this is video we are talking, so wont be so hard to believe it get full fast, just think you are recording something and run out of space on vacation, nothing to fall back on in caue you are in middle of no where to continue recordings something..Also, many things these days like cameras use SD, you can pop in the SD card right into this player and view pictures, no can do with A2... Why? Cuz it doent have a slot for NO CARDS!
and did I forget to mention the price is about half of the A2 as well as the size and weight is smaller as well?
And all these advantages you call "Wacky" why cuz its not made by Cowen or maybe cuz it doesnt say "CoLoR Sound" on it --LOL...
You get real fanboy, and realize that the A2 is outdated already, haha, not too mention overpriced..

But rumor has it that iAudio will have something like "CoLoR Video" on it instead...

Usually that would mean that something whoops up on something else. Being a bit more conservative, maybe a few superior qualities. Being uber-conservative... maybe one. But what's the deal with this MSI? Don't get me wrong MSI is a pretty good company where they are strong... not so much name power in the US though. For starters, the Mega View 588 is ugly, awkward, and not sleek. It has horrible battery life (although I do note that it is swappable.) It has a smaller screen which is not wide aspect (16:9). And it's ugly. All for $40 dollars less!!! What a deal. Umm, if I'm going to break the 3-benjamin mark for a consumer electronics device, +$40 for the 20GB A2 doesn't really phase me. And make it +$90 for the 30GB version of the A2.

i can buy a2 20g at about U$ 380-390 and istation 2 at U$ 340-350. the device price is not very attractive with 3.5 inch screen, no ogg suported. Even there is no "color sound"(where are BBE & user's equalizer?).

Why did MSI choose the 3.5" screen? A reason to be less expensive than the A2? For sure, removable battery and SD slot is attractive, but ... 3.5" hmmm...
I'm sold and waiting for the A2 because of its 4" screen.

look, i didnt say this one was better just that it has more features for the money.. I still love iaudio, tho dont agree with everything they do, love my m5..
but becuz I like removable battery and sd feature/option and dont care for bigger player, I will go with the one I mention and not the A2, tho if I cared for bigger screen as well as 16x9, i would go for A2..
But I need a smaller player with option of extending battery life when Im on those islands surrended by beautiful girls..
dont believe me? Here is a snap of when I was on an island where all college girls go and let it hang..

iAudio should have made removable batteries for their products being that most cameras and other superior high tech gadgets have this...

i know cowon offical prices are about U$ 500 for 30g and U$ 440 for 20g. but you can get a 20g at U$ 380 or so & a 30g at U$ 430 at a few of eletronics shopping mall and cybermall in korea. they are selling the device at much lower price than cowon official one. many people got their a2 cheaply from the malls and happy with it.
