A question about the CDDB button in the JetShell software that comes with the M3....

I've ripped some CDs to MP3 with this software and it seems to work ok. When I click the CDDB button (when connected to the web) it says it's contacting the server and does a few other things but doesn't seem to do anything obvious. I expected it to rename the tracks with the artist track information etc.

My old DAP (PJB-100) jukebox software had a 'lookup title' option that gave the option to rename the title and tracks of each album with the info from CDDB. I'd like to have this functionality again.

Has anyone managed to do this sort of thing with JetShell? Is there any help stuff on this topic. Is there an alternative bit of freeware that could do the job.

Any assistance would be great. I'll try out any suggestions over the weekend.

Thanks, Stuart

This would be a question for the Software forum, that's why I moved the topic.

But to answer your question:
The freeware MP3tag did a good job in my case. It works with freedb.org which is almost the same as CDDB. So, try it, perhaps you like it!
