Ask the editors, see how Kim is holding an M3. They also seem to like the AV420 and the H320 (ugh). Looks like Apple won't be the big wig in c|Net's book when the next generation of players rolls along!

This is a signignant turning point; if c|Net dethrowns the iPod, it means a great boost of sales to whatever they replace it with.

Be on the look out for the M5 and cross your fingers!

Also, I need to point out that the U2 is the top DAP in flash memory @ c|Net; finally defeating iRiver. This could just be that a change of heart has occoured!

And yeah, they really don't pay enough attention to Cowon's stuff.
You know that little menu where they list mp3 manufacturers? Well they happen to leave Cowon off of it.

of course, jetaudio does have quite a few slots in the top mps players section...

iAUDIO makes a good showing on the Flash memory MP3 players page, with 3 out of the top 8.

Their first stab at the HDD market also appears to have gone well, with an equal 2nd placing with the iRiver player. Hopefully for them the M5 will have enough power to nuke the iPod from the top spot :D
