Album index view gone?

I used to be able to scroll through my album covers through index view, with the cowon tilted on its side. But now it just doesn't do it. I have 1.26 firmware and remember it was working before.

You using the default music UCI? (If you don't know what a UCI is you're not, but i do recommend you look them up).

Look for one of these icons in the now playing screen settings:
