i'm assuming that pocketing one of these bad boys would extremely difficult. how would u guys lug this thing around?

i would love to have a device to carry all my music, photos, and videos (photos to share with family and friends and videos so i can watch them on tv) but the main function of course would be listening to music but the rest of the other features would be extremely nice as well.

i'm just wondering how difficult it would be to like walk around with this in my pocket or clipped to the side.

i also wondered if the tivo recording feature was on the a2 and my korean speaking cousin has confirmed that u can schedule tv recordings...which is incredible because then i could record soccer matches!

(also do u know what format the video recordings would be when recording onto the a2?)

I wouldn't clip this to my belt nor even put it in my pockets. It is a bit big for that. I would just carry it in my bag. You could carry it if you had a jacket with a big breast pocket or those really baggy jeans with the ultra deep pockets. You may also carry it in your hand like a cd player.

If you mainly need a device to listen to music but would find it convenient to watch videos and look at photos you may as well get an x5.

As for the recording features, I'm sure the a2 will sooner or later use most or all of the codecs to record video. I think the a2 will use mpeg recording just like a capture card.

yeah i was mainly looking at the x5 but the recording feature on the a2 is like the selling point to me.

but i'm going to have to reconsider again...
size does have significance in choosing my mp3 player

I think people are thinking that the A2 is much bigger than it really is. After looking at all the pictures, I thought this thing would be massive also. But then I took some measurements and tried to simulate the A2's size. It was very comfortable to put in my pocket. As a matter of fact, I compared the measurements to my Sharp Electronic Dictionary, and it was the same as the A2 (except for depth by 4 mm). I've taken that dictionary with me in my pocket to 3 different countries and back. It fit fine in my pocket. I've actually kept my wallet in that same pocket. I hope that X5 and A2 comparison shots come out soon so people can see that it's not that much bigger. It'll probably be a bit heavier though.

what do u think if the a2 was in its case though? do u think it'll have a zcover case too?

i also wonder what the interface will be like...mainly like an x5 correct? with tree navigation?

i really like the creative zen vision's interface and it's features like the removable battery but the fact that it cannot record videos makes it inferior to the a2 in my eyes.
