hello,
i just got a d3 today.
And im facing quite an issue.

I currently own three bluetooth speakers:
One phillips shb 9001, turtle beach px5, and sony ericsson mbs 200.

The last two work flawlesly, they pair and connect without a problem.

But unfortunately, my main one which happen to be the one giving me problems, is the philips one.

Its being a bitch to connect. It will sound for like 5 seconds or so and then it will disconnect and sound through the device speakers, which is inconvinient.

I have unpaired and paired it back countless times, it does nothing. It just connects and disconnects straightaway. What gives? The same headset works perfectly with my old j3, works fine with my other devices too, thats not to blame.

What can i do?

Thanks.

I have no experience at all with this issue, so bear that in mind as I offer a suggestion or two.

What firmware version are you on? If you have not yet updated to x.53 (the latest available on the Cowon site), you might try that to see if it helps any.

You might also try a factory rest, but be aware that you will lose whatever files you have loaded on to the device.

Good luck with it.

Thanks for your reply.
I have indeed upgraded it already, i didnt even bothered trying it out before i did (maybe i should had), i just charged it for the first time and upgraded it straightaway.

I will try a factory reset, what else can i do anyways.. But im also looking on ebay for another bluetooth headset..

Since the D3 works with your other two devices, perhaps the Philips headphones are where the problem lies. Make sure they are charged up. Low batteries will make connections drop.

Sorry I forgot to mention I checked that.
I tried it on the j3, on my PSP go, on my galaxy tab and on my HTC incredible 2... on al these devices it pairs and connects with no problem at all.

But nevermind, just purchased on eBay a sennheiser 360 bt.. it'd better work properly.
