Cowon's file checking system is a bit buggy sometimes that alot of people can agree on, especially D2 and J3 users with the sd card integration. Mac users have a heartbreak every time they don't SAFELY unplug their cowon device. So lets run with this idea a bit.
Scenario:
What if the file system became corrupt to the point that no format and no reinstalling different firmwares fix the issue. Without a second thought, you know that rmaing the device is the only option but saddened to the fact of sending it in and being separated from your precious. So you try to see what you can do to get some music on your device somehow. You dump a majority of your music but only 10 artists survive...
So comes the reason of this thread; If this were to happen to you, what 10 artist HAS to be on your Cowon. No explanation is needed of why you like them, Just make a list of your 10 most favorite artist you couldn't live without listening to on your defunct Cowon. From most favorite to least, my list is below - you can use the same format.
I think this could introduce to us all of some pretty new music We never had heard before and how different each of our tastes are. Changed my list and its numeric order multiple times before I was sure these HAD to be on my J3. So be honest and have fun with it ;)!
1) Poets of the Fall
2) Entwine
3) The Rasmus
4) Disturbed
5) Puddle of Mudd
6) Crossfade
7) Evans Blue
8) Breaking Benjamin
9) Three Days Grace
10) Linkin Park
I know I said you didn't have to explain yourself but here goes. Poets of the Fall is my all time favorite band. I of course gradually grew a taste of the other bands on my list through hearing them multiple times but Poets of the Fall was different. First time I ever heard them was when I was benchmarking my new gaming computer with 3DMark 05 Edition. When I heard "Lift" in the credits, something struck me unlike any other song I ever heard. A love that my mind and heart could agree on for the first time and I was instantly hooked, I had to hear more from this band! Bought Max Payne 2 for their song in the credits "Late Goodbye" (game is still in mint condition in my game collection). Bought and Imported every one of their albums, even the Alan Wake Soundtrack and Alchemy Vol.1. Really can't wait for their 5th album in 2012! Alan Wake the game by the way has their newest songs from Twilight Theater in it and for that I bought it new. Sad on my part, I frankly have no idea why it's still wrapped in my home, As my mind now considers it as a collectors item?
