Damn, I was still hoping for gapless
The only thing that really bugs me now is the occasional freeze during music playback - no more hiccups with the previous firmware. Hopes that fixed...

took a punt and installed it. no gapless still but o/s is a bit more zippy. will need to root again after. Also installing ended up adding ~8 random apps in an asian dialect that cannot be removed.

Nice little Task manager widget. Takes two vertical icon positions. Displays RAM available, Active and Inactive apps. Tap on it to bring up the task manager app.

Multitouch in the Paint app only supports 2 fingers. Don't know what I'd use more for, but wonder if 2 is the limit of the hardware.

damn and ive only just totally revamped the D3. if the speed is better, may try again with the players after ive removed media scanning and therefor the players too, replaced with rockbox and other players. removed cowons home and using TouchWiz at the moment. Which is v.nice and zippy too.

wanted to try Zeam home on it, anyone use zeam?

but this is great news none the less. where do people actually report D3 bugs?

That is what that is. I figured I'd had a hiccup in my track a couple times, but after going over it again it played fine.

Maybe if I can get at the OS later, I can renice the audio playback to -1 or something until I get my hands on a US version of this firmware.

Where is the US version of 1.33?Not here yet. Someone on ABI posted info that April would bring a big update to the D3 (android 2.3 with Cowon's add-ons). April is nearly upon is, so I wait with baited breath.

2.3 in April? On a Telechips device? If that happens I would flip - I hope that's true.

EDIT: Maybe they meant 2.3 as in a Cowon 2.33? Maybe this misunderstood. As much as I'd like to see a GB version, I am highly doubtful.
