It'd be real cool if someone - anyone - could come up with a vertical/portrait-mode typist, something that can be used with one hand. The key-pad doesn't have to be cramped because it's vertical - even if it had a one-line display it could easily switch to full-page view (to see what you've typed) and back again.
As S9 and J3 themes/apps are interchangeable (and I'll not give up my S9 for an identikit), it shouldn't be too hard to manage this.
