Hi,

I've tried searching the net, but all I could find was old builds from a couple of years ago...anyway, does anyone know how I can scrobble to last.fm with the J3?

Using a program that started with a z, but that was no good as it never recognised what I had played on the J3.

you can't,if you had D2/D2+ and you added rockbox to your device then you could scrobble to last.fm

You can! Use QTScrobbler or Zenses, in MTP mode.
But you can't scrobble flac.

Really? Both never ever work for me, Zenses crashes and QTScrobbler always says that there are no tracks to submit. :(

J3/Zenses/QTscrobbler: Last.fm scrobbling for tracks added in MSC mode seems possible by DFKT (http://iaudiophile.net/forums/showthread.php?t=37510&highlight=last.fm)

Chief: if I'm not mistaken, all the songs have to have been transferred to the J3 while in MTP mode, and it has to be in MTP mode when you've got Zenses open. It also can't scrobble oggs, in addition to flac.

Both scrobblers are designed for MTP players. They work fine with me, J3 with XP sp3. I've just updated J3 firmware to 2.22 and it worked.

Thanks guys, putting the J3 into MTP mode and transferring the songs made Zenses pick it up! Thanks!

Maybe try QTscrobbler, I find it much better and easier to use than Zenses.

Yeah, Java sucks - I try to avoid any program using it because I hate the sneaky updates, background bloat and nagware that is Java.

Will look into the qt app. Thanks.
