Hi.

Been using RockBox for almost a year and very much enjoying it, so thanks for all the hard work!

However, to me the most annoying feature is the behaviour when the D2 is running out of battery. On my D2, this crashes RockBox, and it seems the player doesn't have enough juice to start up properly when I then connect to USB. I have to charge it for 5 mins under the Cowon FW before being able to use TH again.

So my two questions are:
1) is this just me, or do others have this issue? How do you resolve/manage it?
2) is it possible to have an optional beep when the battery gets below a certain level? At that point I could run to plug it in and not have to miss any music!

Many thanks,

Chris.

actually I kinda had the same issue, now that's why i was researching in the forum... I diddn't know how come that rockbox was crashing evertime I was trying to boot it. re-installed it twice but still same thing : starting screen then go blank and I had to hold the power off for 10 sec to turn off and turn on again.
In my opinion there must be a problem with the rockbox new build cause I don't think i had that issue before. Anyway

To answer your second question: in rockbox, if un installed the voice files. you can set it to warn you when battery level is low. General setting --> voice -->
somwhere around there, can't b very precise my d2 is charging right now.
