Pause and resume

Hi all,

I just started using this gadget.
In the previous version - iaudio 7 when you paused a song and left the player idle for a moment the unit will switch off automtically.
In order to resume you would have to press the On button switch and then press play.

For this current version it seems like I am not able to do this because after I switch it back on and press play the screen goes back to the main menu instead of the 'currently playing' screen. When this happens the song that was just paused is not saved which means that I cannot resume playing it.

Any ideas?

I hope I'm doing something wrong and that this not the fault of the product..

I suppose you have to play around with some options (resume to main menu/resume to song menu). Since I don't own the player I can't give you the exact directions but this should probably be it.

I am using an i9 for a month so this is what I can tell. Whenever the player turns (back) on, it shows the main menu, and you just need to click the play button once (not annoying at all to me) to get to music playing screen (of course if music is the last thing you played on the player). Then the music is ready to be played, resuming or not, depends on your choice. In the Setting menu, then in Music, there is an option whether to resume the song or not.

Yes ,I found that option later on. Very easy to miss. I think Cowon should have this on as default !
