Cowon J3 has better SQ than D2

I don't know if I'm imagining this but my Cowon J3 seems to have a more sharp crisper sound than my Cowon D2. The bass on the J3 is more deep and detailed and the mids and highs are very crisp and full of life. On my D2 the bass wasn't very detailed and deep and I thought sounded very hazey and blurred.

Maybe the reason for the J3 having better SQ is because it uses the new JetEffect 3.0.

Any other J3 and D2 owners notice this too?

Have you noticed same difference without any EQ/BBE settings?Coz,BBE 3.0 is better than previous version.

I cannot say I have noticed any difference when EQ/BBE is switched off. Its when I switched EQ and BBE on that I noticed it being better sounding than D2.
