Hello everyone,
This week i will receive my J3 (32gb) and have a question :
I have many dvds from music concerts (pink floyd, led zeppelin..) so what is the best way to playing them without the loss of quality in the sound and image on the J3 ??
Must i convert the VOB files first or can i copy the DVD straight into the J3 ?
Whats the best program to do this ? Or is there a tutorial available to show me ?
Thanks all for helping me [thumbsup]

Just convert them to Flac or mp3 320, dont know about what program you need for dvd->Flac/mp3, should be just easy drag and drop.
Or are you talking about Video dvd:s, and do you want to convert the videos from the dvd to some format or just the audio ?

I want to convert also the dvd not just the music..
Ex : The album David Gilmour live in gdansk came with a the dvd live of the concert i want to watch it on my J3 the best possible way!!! [thumbsup]
Thanks in advance...
I have used the jet audio software that comes with all the cowon players to convert to avi, which is what the j3 will play in addition to the O2 and S9. As usual, the sound is excellent and the videos look great. Using jet audio is very slow, but everything fits the screen perfectly with no lag. Sometimes you may be prompted with 'codec' missing. Just click ok and it will continue with no problem. The only music dvds I could not convert out of the 75 plus I own are Santana-Supernatural from Sony and the Eric Clapton/Steve Winwood concert from Madison Sq. Garden. Just be prepared to spend a lot of time waiting, but the wait will be worth it.
For it download a program called "Handbrake",install it,rip your dvd in .avi format with xVid codec, its tiny, free, nice software, and very good, almost hassle free.
Hope it resolves your issue.

Using the converter program like Handbrake or Jack audio and convert your files in to the supporting format. This will help you to play your music files without any trouble and with the same quality. These converter programs are available on Internet so download it and install it. Convert your files to mp3 or Flac file types which will be supported by your J3.
