Display by filename or ID tag or both

I hope I'm not being extremely dense, but for the life of me I cannot find any way to change the display between ID Tag and filename. Some posts I have found seem to indicate that this is possible, but I can't find any settings for this (as compared to my D2). At the moment my J3 displays the Title tag in the browser and in whatever track is playing. If at all possible, I would like to display both the filename and the title, as I like to put slightly different information in each.

It's not a setting. Use the file browser, or go back up from any now playing screen to the file list. Hit the back arrow until you can't anymore. Or hit the "up and back" arrow. At the top of the lists shown you should eventually see "[Folders]". Tap that, and you'll get a chance to see any file on the device (that it supports) by filename.
