Posted this at MediaMonkey's forums as well, but I don't know how reliable they are to give me a response.
I have a custom library, and by that I'm saying I've modified some songs (like split some songs into two different songs) / deleted songs from discographies that I'd never listen to / the removal of songs means that I want to rearrange track #'s and I do.
I'm new to MM so I'm not sure of what scripts would suite me best.
Problem: When I try to update the tags to my music, I can't just choose what parts I want to update, if I want the new artwork I have to accept w/e track # they want to give me. Another issue is custom songs that I've labeled to an album (even though they aren't an actual release), when they get included in a mass tag update the tagger wants to change the name of the custom song to an actual track randomly from the album, and all I wanted was the artwork, genre, album artist, ect...
Well I'd like to know if what I'm asking is unreasonable and if not then any suggestions on how to get what I want would be much appreciated. <3
