Updating firmware for the J3

hi i am planning on buying the amazing Cowon J3. but i wanted to ask:

how do i update it's firmware?

I've deleted the other two threads.. just ask all three questions in one thread instead of three separate ones.


1. How to update the J3's firmware:
I guess it works the same way as for the S9: Download the latest firmware from cowonglobal.com and extract the files into the J3's root (where the folders 'Music', 'Pictures' and so on are).


2./3. Where to find apps and games for the J3:

user opinion... does firmware 2.21's bugs warrant staying on a lower firmware until a new update or are they fairly insignificant? From the bugs I read, they seem that way... but what about device operation/freezing and the such?
