Hi all!
I just bought an i9 player today after reading elsewhere that Cowon makes top notch DAPs in terms of sound quality. I'm stepping up from the shuffle/nano world so I'm pretty excited to start enjoying my player.
I've come under the impression that the player isn't really very adept at handling playlists, but that doesn't matter all that much for the moment, since I'm happy to drag and drop for the most part.
However - while playing with the BBE presets, I find some settings which sound fantastic on some songs but the preset would be pretty bad for other songs (typically if changing genres). I'm sure this isn't uncommon, so I was curious if it were possible to have the player automatically switch its preset based upon what song is playing. (which I'd manually select ahead of time of course).
iTunes has a similar feature if I recall (either preselecting an EQ or perhaps just a relative volume adjustment). Does anyone know if this is possible, or would I need to manually switch over to my preferred setting as songs change?
I'm still happy to hear all the new details in my music now - although for the time being, I might just be enjoying the extra bass in a somewhat vulgar fashion [laugh]
I'll probably be looking to move beyond these Razer m100s sometime in the future now too. (HEY! at least they're not iBuds!!)
