I read on the cbit post that it was released (supposed to be released) in Austria and Germany June of this year! Is this right and can anybody else shed some light on when the A2 is supposed to be released anywhere?

i think it was supposed to be released now, in august. pricing is from 400-500 dollars, and it features just about everything the X5 has.

I found it on a german site idealo.de for 599 euro (740.28 USD!!!) Does anyone know when it will be released elsewhere (namely korea or us) and when it will be cheaper. Also why was it released in Germany first?

for some reason i think cowon releases all its stuff in Germany and Austria first, then Korea, then finally the US and everywhere else. I don't think it would make a difference on what website you bought it on, because i am sure you can change the language to english or whatever. I wish they sold this at stores, because i'd want to see it first.

the A2 is not out yet. Cowon releases products first in Korea, where they have headquarters and manufacturing facilities.

It has listed the A2 for sale for a while. It, I believe, is trying to reel in money on pre-orders. I'm not exactly sure.

Ah, that makes sense although 740 dollars is alot to put down on a pre-order. There is no way I can wait for the A2 looks like I'll have to trade in my x5 when it comes out
