Don't know if possible, but would it be possible to make some kind of transitioning between the different .swfs? maybe through the launcher.
any idea?
I'm gonna do it with my new uci, however my "system" is not .swf dependent...
But yeah I think you can introduce transitions via the launcher. The other day, i was thinking of a way to do it without modifying the launcher, but I cant remember what it was for the life of me... >_<

It's true that it's something that is missing in the UCI, some nice transitions betwen the menus.

transitioning will be nice, but of course if the transitioning is ridiculously complicated, it will lag up the S9. so a fade out fade in, a page flip, slide in and out, or something of those kinds will be the transitioning we get to have.
haha yea...I dont think we'll be getting any of those zune HD style transitions... But Itouch-esque transitions are definitely possible

I cant understand how the S9 can be that laggy that quickly it supposed to hae 2 processors. Is that the flash 7 limitations ? the firmware restrictions ?

actually now that i think about it... isn't it possible that say a mainmenu UCI has say... a music icon. when you press the music icon, the whole screen will be blackened except for the music icon and the music icon will move to a corner where it will indicate you are in the music page.
well dont know how to explain. i suck at explaining.
is that a bit too much?
Launcher works by unloading prior UI before loading new one,so transitions are not possible via that design - unless you want some lag - ie when button is pressed, fade out the stage, when its faded out, unload it and then load new one - its certainly possible, but I have a feeling it will get old fast. A better option is to load second UI without unloading the first one, and start fade-out at that point. It may be worth trying, but I think cowon intentionally made launcher this way - to leave as much memory free ...
