m3u does not work perfect

hi all, my issue is a bit weird and i don't know how to describe, however, it is like when i open a m3u on the s9 it contains what it should, plus the content from the m3u above.

e.g.: i have 4 m3u's

aRock (22 entries) (works perfect)
Boston (5 entries) (does not work perfect, s9 is showing 26 entries. the supposed 5 songs at first, then the ones from aRock.m3u)
Disco (42 entries) (works perfect)
electro (387 entries) (works perfect)

when i open the m3u's (stored on the s9) on my pc with wmp11 all are working fine.

i have fw 2.31b2 (had the same behaviour with 2.31b) and use Playlist Creator 3.6.

does anyone else have such problems?

is it just me or still a bug in the fw?

I'm getting this with one of my m3us with 10 entries that follows another with 400.

thanks for your reply. now i know that i am not the only one and that it is most probable a bug in the beta fw.

i played around a bit with the trouble making m3u and found out, that when it contains at least 18 entries, it works fine, too.
so i thought that i got it and that here is a restriction of 18 entries minimum. i created another new one with 18 entries, called it mix18 and .... it was screwed up, had more than 300 entries ....

the alphabetical order of my m3u's was this:

aRock
Boston
Disco
electro
mix18

then i renamed mix18 to cmix18 to have this order

aRock
Boston
cmix18
Disco
electro

... and .... cmix18 showed up ok now ....

there seem to be a relation between the number of entries in the m3u following each other. however, i hope for a fix in the next final fw release.

I noticed a similar problems today with a playlist containing 70-odd songs. It follows one containing 214. Weird and disappointing. As has been mentioned above, hopefully this can be fixed with a firmware update.
