My S9 fell on the ground and the amoled screen is in pieces. The whole screen is cracked into little grafments :( :(

Eek that sucks.

A few days ago, my s9 fell on the tile face down about 3 feet up, and it didn't get a scratch.
Sure got my heart racing though...

looks like it was impacted on both sides?

It fell on a little piece of rock 1st and then with the other side on another piece :(

Would Cowon replace the screen and fix it for a price? Or would you just have to buy a new one, have you asked them?

I wouldn't take my S9 outdoors until I had a Cowon leather case for it. (I learned my lesson after my D2 fell on the concrete and broke.)

Wow, that sucks man, sorry for your loss. I felt so terrible when my S9 fell from my jacket pocket (maybe 3 feet off the ground). Figures, I did something nice, I was holding the door, and bam the S9 somehow fell. Thankfully, nothing happened, no cracks/scratches, anything.

Yes it still works. I have splinters in my fingers to prove it :D

Well. My Zen broke the same way. And 2 weeks later the S9 was released. So... I hope when I get a chance to go to mp3shop overhere in Eindhoven that the 32 Gb version is out :D

My fault. My problem :) Fortunately I can afford to waste 229 euro's for a new one :)
I am going to try to find it cheaper this time. Import or something like that.

Thanks Ryan. Oh I did send it to Korea! Those guys where I bought it from took care of it. It'll be 75 euro's though.

But I still need my music so I already got me a new one (arrives today).
I'll give the refurbished one away as a b-day present someday ;)

How did you send it to Korea? I bought mine from Amazon and I have a pretty similar problem. My screen died after being manhandled in my bag with a hardbound book and a netbook. I was hoping to have it fixed but I don't know where to send it.
