Hi!
is it possible to play all the songs on the iAudio 5 without having to change folder...
ehmm..
like...
Folder1
-file1
-file2
Folder2
-file3
-file4
-file5

If I start with file1 (Folder1) and use continous play. Will the player stop after file2 or will it continue on to Folder2 and play file3,4,5 etc...?

Just ordered mine (1gb) *happydance*

Just have to sell my iPod mini... (using linux, and I don't like gtkpod ;P )

(Know my english is pretty bad, just bear with me :) )

If the boundary is set to all and shuffle is off, I think that should work...

Failing that, you could possibly use some playlist software to setup an auto-playlist to do what you're intending.

ok. But the iAudio 5 doesnt support playlists? right? just the "on the go"-playlist ?

.mpu or .pls?

Yes, it does support m3u playlists.

You can either-
a) connect your X5 to your computer and create them based directly on how you have your player's folders set up.

b) Create the playlist locally and then copy it over to the X5, provided the paths would be the same (i.e. you have a music folder on your PC that's identical to the music folder on your X5).

Either way, make sure directory paths don't change, and store the playlist file in the appropriate folder.

It's NOT the X5... but the iAudio 5 flash player...

guess that's another case? :/

Oh, whoops. My bad!

I don't have an i5, but...I would _think_ the underlying principle would be the same.

Does the i5 have a Playist folder? Does the manual claim it supports normal playlists? If so, I think my above post would still apply.

ok, I really don't know, since I've just ordered it :-)

guess I have to wait and see for myself (or wait for someone who has it.. :) ) anyway, I'm sure I'll be satisfied...

Tnx anyway doniago ;D

You could perhaps download the manual from Cowon's site?

No problem. :)

hello solli,

I'm quite sure you can build playlist from soft delivered with your I5

Good choice, I think you'll be surprised by the good sound you can get with this player! ;-)

Enjoy!
