The Stock Earbuds (Cresyn AXE 599BS)

Initially, I hated this earbud. The cord was too short, the headphone length was mismatched (at first I was like, dude... who the hell did this?), and they slipped out of my ears. So I set them aside.

Well today, when I got my CW300, I got another pair of these. Just to hear the song that came with it (son crazy Korean song about apples, and trees, and an angry guy... whatever). So I find earbud covers; when applied they didn't fall out my ears! So I put the dap in my pocket and listened away. Then, when I stood up, magically, they didn't rip out of my ears; but I found the rather short cord was just the right lenght for the CW to be in my pocket, and the buds in my ear, with no chance of tangling. And I'm 6'1!

I think I might be using these for when running while awaiting the money for ER-6i's B-)

I also hated the stock earbuds. They always fell out and the right earbud was "ticking". So I sent them back to the retailer. Never heard about it since then though. But I don't really care, as I was thinking of getting a better pair of earbuds. I now have a pair of Sharp HP-MD33 and those are really good :)

Have you thought about getting Shure E3c or E5c? I have the Shure E3c which sound fantastic, the earbud goes right into your ear so you might need to get used to that compared to the standard earphones but sound quality is amazing!

I, too, hate the ear buds and cannot get them to stay in my ears no matter what. I tried my Sennheiser ear buds which I really like but they don't work with my CW300. I can't get stereo and worse yet I have to jiggle the connection around to get sound at all. I sent my unit back to Cowan and they couldn't reproduce the problem using the earbuds sent with the player. I don't know why this happens, but thought I would throw this out as a caution to all who are replacing the ear buds.

2.Didnt like the around the neck lenght (one ear would have more <weigh> pressure than the other
3.as Piggen says, the right one was ticking.
4.The left earbud just falled from the plastic that split right and left!

Huh. I actually like them. They fit my ears better than any other buds I've used. They sound pretty good. I've only had them a week, so I can't say how they will hold up.
