In two weeks, I will be the happy owner of an S9. I already know about the two differents protocoles of music transfer and i know that the S9 can handle the two of them. But i would like to know the advantages disadvantages of which one and generally which one YOU are using.
So MSC or MTP ??
(I will be using media monkey)

Where do you change between the 2? I've found it once and switched it, but now I have no idea where I saw it. I'm not seeing it under the 'settings' and such.

if you're on the korean firmware, 1.20 (or 3.20) then you will NOT see it. korean firmware uses only MSC (i think)

you have to change to the american firmware for MSC and MTP option

Okay nice to know all that thanks for your answers.
I think i'll put mine in MTP and manage all with mediamonkey.
It could be another topic but i read something about the *.m3u playlists. Does the S9 support or not ?

no they dont, but you should use Claw's UCI for on-the-go playlists

:) it's really convenient and you can stay on MSC mode (which is better than MTP)
