Q5W wont turn on

hey can you help me out with my q5w, I just bought one off of ebay and its been charging for over four hours and the red light is still on wont finish charging...I think. If I try to power it on it just hangs on the boot screen (pretends to boot) then shuts off. If I disconnect the power cable it turns on but give me the low battery screen and shuts off. Help please

I just realized that the charger that came with this cowon is brand new and not the original. There are two possibilities either the battery isn't holding a charge or the charger isn't doing its job, seeing how as it does start I'm guessing its the darn cheap charger. Don't really know, I just hope I didn't get punked on ebay for a faulty Q5. What do you think?

Hangs at the end of the cowon startup screen( cowon logo and a loader) or sooner? Because if it is at the end of that loading screen it could be loose connecter, which is quite easy to fix.
Just follow the first few instructions from this website (http://www.rcgrabbag.com/archives/cowon-q5w-teardown/)

When you got the thing open, just check the ends of the ribbon cable at the harddrive and circuitboard. High chance on of them is loose.

As far as the battery is concerned I don't know how you could fix that. A simple 5v charger should do the trick I guess.
