With every MP3 player I have owned I still haven't figured out how to properly have the player display album art. I really hope someone can help me here.

I am using Winamp and I found it very easy to add album art within Winamp via Winamp searching the net for the art and then I apply it. So within Winamp I am seeing the album art for each of my albums. When I transfer the album to my S9 however, I am not getting the album art to show.

So I checked my album folders on my computer and I noticed there is a .jpg named "albumname.jpg". I changed that .jpg to "cover.jpg". The album art shows up on my S9, yay! Now the problem.

Those album art pics also show up in my S9 pictures folder. Why is that? I have the "cover.jpg" file within each album's folder and each album is in the S9 "Music" folder. What am I doing wrong? Also, is there an easier way of doing what I'm trying to accomplish? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Thanks for the info, but do you know anything about why the album art is showing up in my pictures folder as well?

Please disregard this thread, I figured it out with MP3tag. Thanks!

Because you are in the Library Mode and not the folder mode. The library mode displays all the jpg's on the S9.

Look at the top of the S9 screen to tell which mode you are in.

Just use the folder with the arrow to go to the top and then select the picture folder and all you should see is you pictures.

Using M33tag, all you did was embed the album art in each file which IMHO, uses more storage space...
