Is there any different at all between the chrome and titanium versions of the s9 besides the color?

No. Same S9. Just different color casing.

To be more of a nitpick, their backsides are made of different materials.
Chrome is high glossy plastic thingy, while Titanium is Urethane.

That means you can lick the black ones but should not lick the chrome ones :+

so i guess chrome black is perfect for me ^^
i dont mind fingerprints because that's just the player's way of saying, "yes Silvos3189, you own me"

if it was a women, guys... "you'd want ur fingerprints all over her too right?" ^^

I'm guessing the urethane used on the S9 is polyurethane, different from Ethyl carbamate (also called urethane). The latter is in the form of "white, crystalline solids at room temperature" - Wikipedia. Polyurethane is not known to be carcinogenic.
