How Quickly the Word Spreads

I was given an s9 the other day. Guy I work with is actually more of a gadget guy than me, LOVES my new s9 when I showed him on Friday.

I was showing him a few things today, UI's etc...he was well impressed. I came back over about 30 mins later to show him a few other things when he tells me.."yeah I know, I bought one over the weekend." [thumbsup]

He should be signing on here soon.

i've been telling a few friends about the S9 and all it's features and etc and that i'm waiting for the hopeful 32gb chrome model to come out...and then before you know it I find that some of them decided to order the 8 or 16gb model O_O BEFORE I even get mine T_T

I told some of friends too. They asked whether it has WiFi and I said no. BIG FAIL! "It has no Wifi. I#ll stick to my touch. Its better anyway. The sound is great and I don't think your Cowon does sound much better" Fanboys..

Showed my S9 off to a guy 10 mins ago. I just showed him a few pics and I explained about the great SQ and endless UCI opportunities, not even mentioning other stuff, and he just stood there, staring at the thing for about a minute before he left the room...

Also, my best friend bought it. We'd been discussing it for a month or something. Were both happy :)

Cowon is right - it is the ultimate mp3 :D Can't imagine anything else now, except for maybe a Zune...

I had a Zune, felt like an Ipoop with Microsoft slapped on it. Forces you to use it's software but at least you don't have to convert your music. The software you have to use with the Zune is horrible too. I tied to move all my music from my computer to the Zune and decided to delete the music on my computer because it was all on my Zune anyway. When I synced it, my Zune deleted all my albums because it couldn't find them on my computer, what a heartache that was. Firmware 2.4 crashed tons of Zunes and the Zunes Y2K bug of 2009 was horrifying. Glad I sold my Zune (after I got the replacment), I'll stay with Cowon forever! Can't wait to get my Cowon S9 tomorrow [yes]!

And the thing you said about the software deleting all your stuff probably can be fixed in the settings. Anyways, I allways keep a backup on my PC.

The newest firmware (3.X) fixed the issues but the software urked me alot. I had to keep deleting my device in order to not have my Zune delete my albums due to the fact they weren't on my computer. Zune was alright, I personally don't like being tied to a software, that's all.

I would never delete all the music on my computer and trust a pmp to keep it all safe.

lol, I do keep my music on an external, sorry if I didn't mention that. Even with my new Cowon S9, all my music is still on the external just in case the worse happens.
