Product you can use to "clean" or polish your screen, but also provides protection against smudging (fingerprints) to some extent (if your funky, nothing will save your screen)

http://www.novuspolish.com/

you can find it in glass shops usually, I think the web site i posted as a "where to buy" also. I used to use it on touch screen monitors all the time, works wonderful on my s9 (or any other touch screeny I have i might add)

anyway, thought i'd share!

Any one know anything about these 2 companies?

New Sharp Image (http://screenprotector.net). They Sell on eBay (http://stores.ebay.com/nsix-oa)

Steinheil Anti-Fingerprint (http://www.sgpstore.com/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=anti-fingerprint&osCsid=ac01149d4ddf733325585ff063246eda&x=0&y=0) Protectors

The both claim to make Anti-fingerprint Screen Protector.

The Fingerprints are driving me crazy...

I used NOVUS Polish when I was in the Military...A long, long, long time ago...T'was good stuff for scratches.

Since the S9 has a smaller screen than the Ipod Touch I'm going to try adapting one of the screen protectors I bought for it to the S9.

I have the same problem hehe, i already tried some normal screen protection which minimized fingerprints, but they didn't really fit 100%.
Now i ordered 3M Vikuiti ARMR200 which claim anti-reflection and anti-fingerprint.

I let you know how that goes ;)

EDIT: why is my link in a separate box lol?! (or do i only see it that way?)

Well I ordered a Steinheil Anti-Fingerprint (http://www.sgpstore.com/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=anti-fingerprint&osCsid=ac01149d4ddf733325585ff063246eda&x=0&y=0) Protector for an iPod Touch 2nd Gen. Apparently I got the last one they had in stock.

I guess I will just have to trim it to fit.

The Pogo Sketch (http://www.tenonedesign.com/sketch.php) I brought was not worth the money...

Got the Steinheil Anti-Fingerprint Protector today.

Trimmed it down until it is just a little bit bigger than the touch screen.

Fingerprints are gone...

Display still looks good...

You can see where I cut it down to fit:

Not quite square but close enough for now...The big thing is NO FINGERPRINTS...

doesnt a nylon cloth get rid of the fingerprints...also get some lens cleaner and itll be photograph ready...at least s9 doesnt have any beveled surfaces like my O2, you have to q-tip the corners to get some dust and fingerprints out

Dalmane98 (http://iaudiophile.net/forums/member.php?u=10543), that screen cover you got looks like exactly what I want. It seems to kinda have a matte finish, do you think the one for the 3G touch would be the same? And does it decrease the quality/sharpness of the screen or is it the same?

There is a little decrease in the sharpness, but I use my S9 for Music and photos.

See this post (http://iaudiophile.net/forums/showpost.php?p=222178&postcount=32) for some links to full size pictures.

If it is the Anti-Fingerprint model for the G2 it should be the same...The screens are the same so you will have to trim it...

The Anti-Fingerprint Screen protectors all have a Matte finish...

I do use mine for video quite a lot, but do you reckon it would be OK? I also managed to get a scratch on my screen, probably when I let people use it at a party and they kept leaving it face down on the fireplace. I'm hoping the cover will make the scratch less visible.

All you can do is try it...

Cost me $14.99 with shipping...For 2 of them

It is the easiest screen protector to install that I have put on.

Must be because of the glass face on the S9...

its too bad you cant get one that covers the entire front of the player, because just on the screen diminishes the S9's whole clean look

Seems like SGP is producing one for Cowon S9. This is the e-mail i got from them:

We currently have SGP Shiled and Steinheil Crystal product for Cowon S9, we ordered those two products to have them in our stock but seems like they are having some delay due to custom issue, however we are looking forward to have those within this month.
We have asked to produce Ant-fingerpring product for Cowon S9, we believe they will produce it pretty soon and ship to us by this month as well.
Thank you for having interest on our products, please keep up with our website, it'll be appear on frontpage new items listings once it gets in.

I might try the one called Steinheil crystal when they get it updated on their site..

Not sure what you mean by it does not look good...

The fit or the screen?

The screen is just as good with it as it is without it...But I do not watch videos.

Try these pictures (http://iaudiophile.net/forums/showpost.php?p=221985&postcount=13).

I just ordered the one made for the S9 from the SGPStore.

sorry about being vague...i mean the picture quality...hmm maybe ill invest in it in that case...if yours is coming soon id like to know how well it covers the front...like if its the ENTIRE frontside which would be nice......yeah i dont really watch videos either so that wouldnt be a problem

Bad pictures...I really do not take my time. I have one of those picture tents, but do not use it.

I will let you know if it covers the whole front.

I think it will as they also have a full body skin too, that covers everything...On their Home Page under new items.

The protector covers the whole front of the S9.

It doesn't decrease the sharpness that much when looking at the screen from ahead but you'll notice some "frosting". By looking at the screen from the side you'll notice a lot of the frosting effect/sharpness reduction.

I tried to take a few photos which I hope shows what I'm talking about, but I don't think the camera really captures the differences.

^That's a shame! I'm very happy with the S9 ridiculous view angle so if the anti-fingerprint messing with that is a reason for not using it.

I use the the Belkin ClearScreen Overlays for ipod touch. I it a hard screenprotector which is great and it leaves no bubbles[thumbsup]. It has reduced fingerprints, it is invisible, but I had to cut it too fit the screen and it is easier to clean the screen too. Thats what i think. It covers almost the total front. I will try to take some photos of it.

Hard for me to say because this is the only protector I've tried. In short I would say that I like this product a lot, because the reduced sharpness doesn't matter that much to me.

No fingerprints + some "frosting" when looked head-on + not as ridiculously good viewing angles = Buy

I was wondering if anyone has tried one of those Zagg invisible shields on their S9 I am very curious how the orange peel effect that a lot of people that have the Zagg shield for iPhones complain about. I am wondering how bad it looks or if you can even really tell on the S9 with the different kind of screen. They seem like they would be really nice with the kinda of grip it adds and the obvious protection.

is the orange peel effect the actual zagg film freaking out, or the space between the player and the film deforming? im assuming it would still orange peel because the type of screen is only different under the glass...LCD under glass would still react the same as AMOLED under glass

i keep advertising this, but get the SGP softskin if you are interested in an invisible shield...its like the Zagg, but the screen gets its own LCD protector that isnt softskin, but the rest of it is...improving scratch protection and most importantly grip...the s9 is surprisingly easy to drop or slip out of your hands....

Just sent an email to the Crystal Guard Plus sales department:

How much does Crystal Guard Plus cost (as seen here: YouTube - Savoir-faire pour entretenir le produit Samsung P2 à haute b ), and where can it be bought?

Additionally, the test done here is done on plastic. Will the Crystal Guard Plus solution have any unpleasant effects with regular glass or Gorilla Glass?

Will keep you posted on any replies or info I find out.
If anyone can tell me how to keep this YouTube video from embedding, I will change it to save on load time/CPU usage for this thread. I tried switching to the manual editing mode by pressing the button on the top right of the text box, and deleting the tags around the YouTube URL, but that did not work.

As far as I know from various youtube videos of the Zagg skins on iphones and a few other devices the orange peel texture is part of the Zagg skins themselves, so I would guess you are right about them being the same on any glass surfice.

So this is basicly the same as the Zagg on the back panels but its a hard static cling LCD cover for the front?
