Press Radio ---> Frozen

Seems about 1/5 of the time I turn on the FM radio, I lose the screen for a couple minutes, sometimes to be regained without music or movement on the screen, sometimes it seems nothing is going on... Usually the hard reset works, but not until a couple minutes after I press it. Looking to see if this is a common firmware glitch or a specific hardware problem with my unit that should lead to an exchange at newegg. Any ideas?

was hoping the firmware update (to 2.10b) would fix the problem, but nothing. also: hard reset does work, just tough to press (usual pen point too big... weird.) Anyone else experiencing this problem with the radio freezing the player? Should I exchange under my warranty?

My radio never ever did that. And i use the radio (couple of hours a day).
So changing to stable FW 2.09 and 2.10b not solving the problem. So did the radio freeze up on you from the beginning? Are you using any specific UCI themes with 2.10b FW? Where do you live what region did you choose?

My radio freezes only when I'm browsing through stations using presets.
I customized the presets by editing the radio.ini file in the system folder.
The reset button is the only option for me.

It has done this for all of the firmware versions I've used (2.06 i think, to Korean 1.10)

Manuskate: nope, no funny business with UI's and has been happening throughout the firmware upgrades. And rgion is correct, as well (US).

OnYourMark: Interesting, mine won't freeze after I get in to the radio (wen browsing, scanning, etc.), only at the point the radio is activated.
