I do realize that regular styluses do not work, but is there a heated tip stylus or some kind of stylus that will work? I have done some searching, but the only styluses I've found will burn the screen. Maybe I'm looking at the wrong place.

So, are there any styluses?
You need a electric conducting pen... like a stick of copper which electrons can pass from your hand to the point...it also might have to be a certain size... As i've tried it with an Aluminum ruler and it's corners would not activate it but the entire width of it did.

The Screen isn't Haptive it is capative.

They're developing styluses for capacitive touchscreens, but I don't think they're out yet. When they do however, just buy an stylus made for "iPhone/iPod Touch" since they have capacitive touchscreens too and marketing it like that would generate more revenue.

I Brought a Pogo Sketch on eBay.

I will let everyone know how it works...Anything to lose the finger prints...

EDIT: Save your money...It Sucks...

It sort of works, but you really have to press down hard and it does not do well swiping either...

Maybe the S9 touch screen is not sensitive enough...

I guess an Anti-finger print screen saver is coming next...

I found the pefect remedy: just have a bottle of cleaning fluid/spray and a cloth tag along with you (one that does not fluff) and clean it before you show it to anyone else ;)

I think that a stylus that would work has to cover a part of a 50x50 pixels space and has to be organic (or conducting warmth(?)/electricity(?)).

Yeah, they drive me crazy, so I ordered an Anti-fingerprint (http://iaudiophile.net/forums/showpost.php?p=219627&postcount=2) protector from Steinheil for an iPod Touch 2nd gen...

The glove will not work...[no]...Capacitive screen...

If anyone is interested...I've used a small round magnet to do the job. now i'm figuring out how to get it working as a pen.

i just tried the negative side of a AA battery

it worked

the magnet worked too, but i'm not risking ruining my screen....

I seem to recall a glove designed to work with capacitive surfaces by allowing the static (or magnetism?) to pass from your hand to an ipod click wheel uninhibited. If they still make those, maybe someone could pick one up and see if it works with the s9 (I would, but I'm still holding out for 32 gigs.)

2. take your iaudio earphone black styrofoam thing and put it over the negative part.
3. okay use it now. -_-

LOL. dont bash me. IT WORKS. so if you're a fingerprint freak like me, you can use it..

edit: its definitely not as good as your finger. imma actually try making a stylus though.

Maybe doing something with a little (cheap) flashlight, like the one you hang on your keys.Lose the glass but use the body of the flash light and if i am not mistaken is there not a receiptor of some kind in a flashlight?

Oke have the cowon screenprotector now and the fingerprints are about 50% less visible now. Also tried a thermometer..., did not work well but i think the shape is what i am looking for.

Not to be rude, but it looks like the screen is more defused, grainy on the picture. I am i right or is it just te impression from the picture?

Your not being rude...

The finish is matte, but that is what helps eliminate the fingerprints...I guess it makes a difference in what you want..But you be the judge:

and the point of me wanting a stylus is accuracy :PThe Pogo Sketch sucks...The end of a AAA battery is bigger than my finger...And how much more accurate do you think a stylus will be when compared to your finger...

All I did was share my trials and what I thought were errors...

I am not pushing a screen protector, stylus or anything else...Get what works for you and makes you happy...[thumbsup]

EDIT: I tried the iamoled.avi video that came with the S9 and it looks as great with the Screen Protector on as it did with it off...
