line out option

i'd like to know if there's an option to change the output to line out instead of earphones (you know, this little icon).
i do remember there was such a thing but can't find it!

The line-out has its own connection on the sub-pack, if you mean that.

thanks, but it's not what i meant. i mean there was a menu-option to change the output.
might i'm wrong.

There's only a menu option to change input (mic, tuner, line in) source for recording. Line out is always "on" while playback. Unfortunately, the volume control has an impact on line out as well.

Line-out should have no impact on volume nor the JetEffect settings with a constant output. Maybe a firmware upgrade could fix this?

yep you're right...otherwise I could use the output of the remote as well (since I really don't see a difference now between line-out and remote-out) and don't need the subpack or the cradle with the line-out.

When I connect my m3 thru the line-out (subpack) to my pc speakers, the volume control is useless under 22. That is to say that once I turn the volume down to 22 it won't go any lower. Even if I turn it to zero, remains the same. Works ok at 22 and above.

Is this normal?
