s9 Boring?

does anyone else find the s9 kinda boring? well i didnt buy the s9 for fun or flash reason but the music and movie quality ( btw is amazing) but as of right now there is nothing fun about the s9 really... probably in the future there is going to be apps, flash, games, better firmware, but im kinda bored. anyone else?

download games....i can listen to music and only music for a week straight. so the cowon is9 is perfect. if u get he eq to the way you want it u wont be bored. thats how i see it. its not a ipod touch were u get a bunch of games. but u get flash. also its portable media player so i dont really use it at home.

Yeah once I get mine I plan to teach myself Action Script so I can play around with flash programming on it. I wouldn't call it boring at all.

You can allways download ordinary flash games with only mouse controlls from the internet to the S9....games don't have to be MADE for it.

already bored? well, i just needed an mp3 player with good video functions, so i can see my tv series on longer journeys and the S9 is amazing at that :) and when i dont listen to musik or watch my series, there are always tons of audio books, so hopefully i never get bored ;)

All I want from a media player is for it to play media and do it well - the device itself doesn't need to entertain me - my music and videos entertain me and the player is just a conduit.

If the S9 is boring you - buy some new music and videos and it'll be exciting again! [laugh]

Buy a Netbook...It will fit in your Backpack, Briefcase (me) or the E-Case (me) you buy to put all your electronic toys in...Depending on how old you are...

I haven't gotten mine yet, but as long as it plays music I will not be _Bored_...That is what I brought it for....

But I can actually understand Jananoz...Sometimes my D2 get's boring, but then I just look for some new music, a new theme or a flash skin and that's great. OFC theese are mediaplayers and not entertanementsystem-like mega computers, but they sure gets funnier with games and stuff.

What you want is a DS or PSP(or Open Pandora) :D

Really, isn't the S9 one of most fully featured DAPs around with its support for flash? The only thing that truly tops it in the fun department would be the iPod touch, which (I think) really is a glorified PDA of sort.

But yes, like another poster said, you might want to consider a netbook. I've had the EEE for a while now, and while it's limited it's really fun to use on the go, especially if you upgrade the battery.
