Hi i got this problem when i convert mkv file, the subtitle wont show. It's ok with avi file but not mkv. anyone has solution on this?
(the subtitle is embedded in the movie file already, not seperated file)
yeah...
1. download mkvExtract and MKvmerge (you need mkvmerge for some exe files)
use MkvExtract to get the sub file out of the MKV and then hard-encode the subs on to the avi (using avidemux)

It's actually not soft subbed though, you can just enable it in the settings I believe I think using JetAudio somehow

Just extract the subtitle file from the MKV as a SRT or SMI file and put it along the AVI in the S9
The S9 will automatically integrate the subs into the movie when playback

Just tried SUPER, as Avidemux wasn't properly encoding ASS subs... and i'll tell you.
SUPER is definitely awesome.
