What does it do, just update the firmware on the player?yes but it only updates the players listed above. i'm sure the D2 will be add and maybe the i7 will be added but it's unlikely. the Updater is just for easier updating rather then the 3 step thing.

Except it doesnt work.

My S9 is on firmware 2.41. I load up the updater and it tells me no updates are available, and that i have the latest firmware.

I go to cowon.com and what do i see? Firmware 2.50.

you don't need a firmware updater. all you do is download the firmware 2.50 and just drop it into the root of your S9

Yeah, what uphail said. This process is so easy, don't even see why you would need a firmware updater.

hey guys! looks the program is still here. works with my S9 and all other current COWON Devices. a neat program but it's just simple to go to my Link (http://product.cowon.com/take.php?returl=product.cowon.com/uguide/product_product_data.php) in my Sig and go from there
