View Full Version : Buggy finger swipe skip track since 2.07

Hi. Since I've updated to firmware 2.07 every now and again the skip or previous track with a finger swipe to the left or the right over the album art on the music screen won't work at all or mess with the music bar instead forwarding or rewinding the tune...

works perfectly fine with me. maybe you're swiping it wrong? swipe in the midle of the album art...

I know.. I've tried everything. It works fine lots of the time but now its sort of on and off.. could it have anything to do with me using a custom theme or something? that's the only other change i made besides firmware 2.07...

do you mean changing theme as in changing the music screen theme? if thats so maybe you have to press a certain place...
but if not, then dunno. you should note that there are at times when the touchscreen of the S9 turns really idiotic and i had to press like 20 times just to get the menu button working. but that happens very very once in a while.

This is the main menu theme that i'm using. i'm not using a music screen theme...

Cool. I'm glad i'm not the only one. I submitted a ticket to Cowon. Hope they actually do something with it.

I'm getting some weird problems with 2.07... Video's would flip on it's own at times.
(will make new thread after i figure out how to redo it)

Weird, not noticed mine not working every time since 2.07, but after reading this I went and tried and every now and then it doesn't work for a few swipes.

One weird bug I did have a couple of days ago was the bottom bar with the buttons on went to about 3/4 of the size. I flipped it and it then went to about 1 1/2 times the size and I had to go to a completely different screen to resolve it.

I noticed that finger swiping stops working after you unlock the player, but if you go to the main menu and then reenter the music player, finger swiping works again.

The swiping doesn't work when you tilt the player, while you have it locked preventing it from switching to landscape mode. That's my experience at least.
So that's why just notice it now with the new firmware.

IC. Thanks m8 for the observation. That explains everything now. I hope they fix this.
