Hello everyone.
I stumbled onto a font changing setting on the S9.. By default it's system font, when I try to change it to user font it automatically goes back..
Does anyone know how I can manually add fonts to the S9 and use them instead of what came with the system?
Also.. Is there some kind of way to change encoding as well?
Thanks!

From the manual

"Font
Set the COWON S9 font type to your preferred font.
Rename your True Type font file(.TTF) into USER.TTF, and
copy to the SYSTEM folder. Select USER FONT from the
menu to apply to the device.
* Certain types of USER FONT may not be properly shown.
It also may delay the device operation. Certain USER FONT
types may not work properly in multi languages."

if you want, try this font http://www.dafont.com/slant.font#top ,download it,rename it to user.ttf, copy it to system folder in S9,then go to menu->settings->display->font and from system font change it to user font

Intially, I had a problem renaming the font. I typed "user.ttf", yet there was no change. Then I realized that I only needed to type "user". :)

On a Windows PC? If so you most likely had common file extensions hidden, meaning the file would still be called user.ttf.

Just for clarity incase some people get confused :)

Yes, Ragewaar. My OS is Windows. The file extension was hidden. [blush]
