Just got the S9. Think it's awesome but for the life of me i can not figure out how to add an album to the on the go playlist feature. I don't even know if this exists but it'd be nice if i can queue up two albums instead of just playing the second album when the first one finishes. Thanks

I don't think you can do that. It's weird, I know. I'll try in a bit though to make 100% sure

Hope this will help you

You're able to create Playlists via Windows Media Player 10. Please refer to the below steps.

1. To create a playlist, connect COWON S9 to the PC and launch Windows Media Player 10.
2. Go to [Library] and click the right mouse button on a file.
Then choose [Add to - Additional Playlists]
3. Create new playlists and confirm it via [Add to]
4. Select the files and click the right mouse.
Then choose [Add to - the created playlist].
5. Go to [Sync - Set up Sync].
Check the playlists and click 'OK' button.
6. Save the selected playlists in the "playlist" folder in COWON S9.
7. Disconnect COWON S9 from the PC.
You can confirm it via [Playlist] folder.

Before you create playlists, please select MTP mode by changing USB connection.
[Settings] - [General] - [USB Connecd]-[MSC or MTP]

While in "MTP" mode the player will only be able to transfer files through "Windows Media Player" or your online music store software. Drag and drop capabilities will be disabled. If you set the player to "MSC" mode, the player will show up as a removable drive, drag/drop capability will be enabled and recognition from the Jetshell program will be enabled.

Please note: To activate MTP/UMS settings for USB Connection you will need to turn restart the unit.

The Clix2 used to Format the Device when changing between MTP and MSC, i take it that's not the case with the S9?!

No it does not reformat.

But I found that if you open up some program like WMP or anything that supports the S9 in MTP mode, you can still "drag and drop" per say.

But it obviously looks like an MTP device (icon) vs. regular removable drive

You guys don't think it's kind of ridiculous that you can't make an on the fly playlist on the player? They should add that feature.

For an mp3 player it still needs a lot of work. I think it sounds great and all, but man, i don't get why some companies overlook some obvious features to add to get the ultimate mp3 player.

Doesn't the S9 have a favorites list just like the O2? That could be changed on-the-go..
