How do you convert to MP3 using JetAudio Trimmer?

I can't seem to figure out how to convert some files into MP3 using the JetAudio Trimmer. I downloaded the lame mp3 codec but I don't know how to install it. I tried using the search function and can't seem to put multiple words into quotes. [cursing]

Or does anyone know a better program that's free?

Look for Spesoft Free CD Ripper. It does all the formats.

Foobar2000 = best player + converter imo
LameDropXPd = simple drag n drop but only converts from wav, flac, mp3 i think.

JetAudio Trimmer does not convert audio files into the MP3 format.

It is used to modify MP3 files.
