Cowon O2 available in Aus!

Only applicable for any aussies on here like myself and a few others but yes the O2 is available but at an expense :( www.minidisc.com.au have the 16gb both available in black and white but at $495aud which is more expensive compared to the 2nd ipod touch at a meastly $419aud. also the 32gb is $589 both in black and white. and they all should be available from the 26th of november

I feel your pain buddy! I'm in Aus too. Sometimes really frustrated how hard it is to get the things like iAudio products at a fair price!!

I've been buying stuff from all over the world in the past. From the US, HK and even ask friends to buy from China for me. They are much cheaper.... and the best thing is, they always have plenty of shops selling those stuff!!!

Opps too much whinging LOL. Anyways I was quite surprised to see the minidisc.com.au sell the O2. But not so happy after checking the price.

One thing about that website thought, a real deal is the Sennheiser IE8 earphones. $379 is far cheaper than the US and the UK, especially considering the horriable exchange rate ATM. BUT, still no stocks available.... I've been queuing for a week now! Hope they won't raise the price after it :(

Yeh I'm in aus too~~ we always seem to lag behind quite a fair bit but since I'm Korean I have the advantage of getting it form its motherland hehehe. From what I know gmarket has an english version and ships overseas too~

haha nice xld_cat you could come in use when i plan on buying my Maxian E900 blueback from gmarket. but yeah i'm surprised at the cost of the thing hopefully the prices start to drop within 6 months

249(for 16gb) + 55 shipping = 304usd = 444AUD (exchange rate .68 on 3rd november)

Hey that's a good idea! I was looking for somewhere to buy it from, seeing as NZ gets things like a year after everyone and charges twice as much.

Ive bought from bhphotovideo before, they're awesome. The shipping is very fast (though its expensive).

They still dont have it in stock yet, but when they do - Im in !!

Anyway, if/when i buy it from there ill keep you updated.

PS: Lets hope the exchange rate goes up to .75 - it makes a huge difference.

hmm. Ive noticed that they now have the 8gb version for 219 as well, and 32gb for 299... Still not in stock.

PS-Minidisc says "This product will be in stock on Wednesday 26 November, 2008.".

As i really doubt that minidisc will get it before bhphotovideo; the chances of getting it before christmas are pretty high lol.

Personally i want it asap, the quicker the better.

www.bhphotovideo.com has them in stock now; though the dollar is low so you might not want to buy it from them :(

If the US dollar isn't recovering untill the second quarter, I'm not waiting. Now's probably the best time in the mid term, if anything.
