View Full Version : CUE support!
Hi everyone! Does anybody know how to enable cue list support? I'm trying to enable it in options, but restart needed, and after the restart nothing changes... Can anyone help?
As far as I'm aware, the D2s memory is read-only in Rockbox. There might be a config file under the Rockbox directory on your player that contains that option. Not sure exactly where it would be, but if you can find and edit it on your computer, it should apply next time you load Rockbox.

Yes, but where exactly?!

I believe RB reads its config from the file /.rockbox/config.cfg.
According to Appendix C of the RB user manual, the option is "cuesheet support". So I would imagine that:
cuesheet support: on
is what you need. Sorry I don't have RB on my D2 at the moment so I cannot test it out.

You can also use Rockbox simulator (http://rasher.dk/rockbox/simulator/) to create config file ;)

If you want the setting to take effect each time you start Rockbox, create a file called fixed.cfg and put it in .rockbox.
So your fixed.cfg would contain:
cuesheet support: on
and this file should be placed at this path:
/.rockbox/fixed.cfg
You can see all the cfg options in any of the rockbox manuals here:
http://www.rockbox.org/manual.shtml
For example:
http://download.rockbox.org/manual/rockbox-iaudiox5/rockbox-buildap3.html#x18-307000C
And the note about the fixed.cfg is here:
http://download.rockbox.org/manual/rockbox-iaudiox5/rockbox-buildch12.html#x15-28200012.3.2
"A special case configuration file can be used to force a particular setting or settings every time Rockbox starts up (e.g. to set the volume to a safe level). Format a new configuration file as above with the required setting(s) and save it into the /.rockbox directory with the filename fixed.cfg."
