i have had my new G3 1Gb for 4 days, and i'm quite satisfied with it's sound quality, but the battery life is somehow disappointing, i have kept playing for over 15 hours, mixed with mp3, wma, and ogg format files, and it seemed that it's out of battery. but the real problem for me will be should or should not upgrade the existant 1.20 firmware to the 1.25? actually i have found that the 1.20 edition has already supported to play ogg files with Q10, the sound quality is fantastic after a tuing in the Jeteffct, and it's working constantly. i have also many files converted from DVDs, they are also in Q10, but unlike those from CD, i have set the specificity as: 48KHz and 96bit, and when i try to play these Q10 files, the machine currently stopped and shut down automatically and reloaded again, i have tried several times with diffrent files (always under such format), no luck for me, does anyone have such problems before? or if it will be tackled after i upgrade the firmware to the 1.25 edition? i don't want to do that without any garantee, since i read the reader's guide and i found "• We recommend not to upgrade firmware if you don't have any problems. • Upgrading firmware is at your own risk.", can anyone give me a solution? mille mercis!
