Power Button Switch Stuck

Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone could help me with this problem. The on/off switch on the side of me f2 is stuck, and I can't even turn it on. I'm afrain if I try to force it it may break. I've only had the unit since April, and it's been taken really good care of, and never dropped or abused. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to fix it if they have any experience with this, because I don't want to send it off to Korea for repairs.

If it's still under warranty I would send it. If not, do what you have to get it to work.

don't try opening it. the design of the F2 is odd and i did open mine when mine broke but it would be hard to put back together. there are clips you have to snap off and plus you have to be really careful otherwise you will rip the ribbon that connects to the LCD Display. i would just try to get in contact with COWON.

It is possible to take the slider out to reach the switch itself without taking the whole thing apart. The plastic of the slider which moves the switch is weak and is bound to break eventually. Mine has broke twice, first time with warranty but now I have a quick fix, though I can't lock it. The black part on the side of the F2 can be taken off because it is only stuck on with some sticky glue. You have probably make some mechanism to push the switch that can be reached from out of the case.
