Folder changes its name

A couple of the music folders will change their name to the name of another folder when I highlight that other folder.

I use the the J. River media center to load it, could that cause it. Also in this media center, when I delete music it leaves the folders and artwork on the D2, strange?

The first of your problems is due to JRMC with is capable to create folders with any data stored in music tags. This can be set in Tool > Options > Handheld > Files & Path > Audio Path. This options are only available if you have your D2 connected with your PC. This setting can be used differently for any portable you have.

The second is a natural thing: J. River Media Center removes empty folders... this is feature of JRMC. D2 doesn't have such kind of automatic features. Then if you don't remove folder.jpg, which is automatically added by JRMC... the folder won't be removed.
BTW, this folder.jpg file is not needed by D2 when is used MP3 or WMA with embedded cover art (a feature of JRMC) but very useful when other format is transferred... then it must be renamed to cover.jpg.

You have the most powerful music organizer for a PC... it makes me work with my D2 ia very simple and efficient way.[thumbsup]
