D2 screen locked (when it shouldn't be)

So,

I've encountered my first real problem with my D2- the device has taken it upon itself to lock itself (even when the slider is centrally placed the screen will still show 'locked'- highly annoying)

Any ideas?

Updated the firmware- problem appears to have been resolved.
