No subtitle from my A3

Hi guys, my subtitle is under srt format and is the exactly the same name as my movies avi file, but no subtitle appear?

You've obviously ensured that the movie and .srt files differ just in their extensions (names match perfectly)

1. Try copying the same 2 files onto your PC and checking in VLC or another media player if the subtitles are shown. If not, the problem is in the srt file. If its being shown, lets continue...

2. Check if you've accidentally turned off subtitles in the A3. Play the above said movie file. Press Button B to enter the Settings section. Press down to reach the Subtitle Size setting. Ensure it is not set to Off... Change it to Normal if it is.
